AgriSafetyNet – Agricultural Safety Through Lifelong Learning

The AgriSafeNet project tackles a wide range of agricultural fields, through decrease the number of work-related accidents and occupational hazards risk in agricultural sector and increase the critical mass of experts regarding occupational health and safety / agricultural labor risk prevention in order to generate policy change by developing agricultural labor risk prevention education provision networking and public awareness.  

AgriSafeNet project is based on:  

a)Setting up a bottom-up solution, based on lifelong learning experiences, to assist the developmentchallenges of Health & Safety experts and practitioners in agriculture; 

b)A network of specialized trainers on Health & Safety and AgriculturalLabour Risk Prevention with access to relevant materials, international experts and information center; 

c) A network of farmers and farmers’ associations implementing more Health & Safety actions asdirect result from the participation in the project;

d) Organizational development for the stakeholders that have through this project the opportunity toaccess new knowledge and expertise (new capacities).

The project is gathering partners from seven EU countries: Slovakia (SLOVENSKA POLNOHOSPODARSKA UNIVERZITA V NITRE), Romania (CPIP-COMUNITATEA PENTRU INVATAREA PERMANENTA), Belgium (CONSEIL EUROPEEN DESJEUNES AGRICULTEURS AISBL), Poland (The Polish Farm Advisory and Training Centre not-for-profit Sp. z o. o.), Germany (Hof und Leben GmbH)Czech Republic (Edu Consulting, z.u) and Spain (FORMACION PARA ELDESARROLLO EINSERCION, SOCIEDAD LIMITADA).
